Our Story
Hi! I'm Stacey, owner of Whisk and Twirl. We are a home-based bakery specializing in creating custom sweets, all from scratch. It is of utmost importance that you receive a quality product that not only looks great, but also tastes delicious!
Growing up, I had the biggest sweet tooth in the house. If I craved a cookie, I baked cookies. If I wanted something chocolatey, I made brownies. Arts and crafts were always a big part of my life. I've always loved working with my hands and creating something new, colorful, and unique. So why not do both? I'm so grateful to be able to combine my love of art and sweets into one.
I am a proud graduate of the Baking and Pastry Arts program from Johnson & Wales University. Go Wildcats! It has given me the opportunity to study under great chefs, and to grow my experience by having worked in hotels, country clubs, and small specialized bakeries.
Life has led me from the Northern Virginia area to the heart of Texas, and let me tell you, I'm in love. The food, the people, and the culture has made me proud to call Texas my new home. After working full time and creating cakes and pastries on the side, I knew I had to make my dream of opening up my own bakery a reality. Thus, Whisk & Twirl was born!
We would love to be a part of your special event. Our goal is to make you happy with our sweet creations. Grow with us as we continue to spread smiles and we hope to further share our products in a future storefront. Remember, life's batter with cake... and cupcakes and cookies and pastries :)
